Every OSMODI bottle is original, sealed and batch-checked.
We only sell full-size retail perfume that we can trace back to the brand or established UAE trade suppliers. Here is exactly how we buy it, how we check it, and how you can check it yourself once it reaches you.
OSMODI sells only original perfume. Every bottle is bought from the brand or from its UAE trade supplier in the UAE, never from an open marketplace. Stock arrives factory sealed in its original cellophane, and before dispatch we read the batch code printed on the box, confirm it matches the code stamped on the bottle, and photograph both. If any bottle you receive from us is ever found not to be original, we refund you in full.
Our five-step authentication process

Sourcing
We buy from the brand directly or from its UAE trade supplier in the UAE, on a commercial account with an invoice for every unit. We do not buy from open marketplaces, auction sites or unverified wholesalers.

Intake inspection
Each delivery is opened and checked against its invoice. We inspect the cellophane wrap, the print quality and colour of the box, the cap fit and the atomiser action, and set aside anything that does not match a reference unit.

Batch-code verification
We read the batch code printed on the base of the box and compare it with the code stamped or etched on the bottle. The two must match. We also confirm the code is a plausible production code for that house.

Sealed storage
Verified stock goes straight into a temperature-controlled room in Dubai, away from sunlight, still in its factory seal. Bottles are not unwrapped, decanted or refilled at any point.

Photographed dispatch
Before your box is taped shut we photograph the sealed bottle and its batch code against your order number. That photo is kept with the order, so if anything is ever questioned there is a record.
What a genuine bottle has
Four things we check on every unit, and that you can check too.
Factory cellophane is tight, evenly folded and heat-sealed at the ends. Loose, re-glued or wrinkled wrap is a warning sign, and so is a box with no wrap at all when the brand normally seals its boxes.
A genuine unit carries the same batch code in two places: printed on the base of the box and stamped, etched or printed on the bottle itself. If the two do not match, the box and the bottle did not leave the factory together.
Real bottles have heavy, evenly moulded glass with no seams or bubbles, a cap that seats with a clean click, and a sprayer that gives a fine even mist from the first press rather than a wet squirt.
Fonts, colour, spacing and the position of legal text stay consistent within a brand. Blurred print, wrong accents, missing ingredient lists or a barcode that does not scan are all reasons to stop and ask us.
How to check your own bottle after delivery
You do not have to take our word for it. This takes about two minutes.

Find the batch code
Look on the base of the box and the base of the bottle. It is usually a short alphanumeric code, printed in ink or laser-etched, and it is not the barcode or the EAN.

Run it through a batch-code checker
Free public batch-code checkers will decode most designer houses and return a production date. A valid, plausible date is a good sign; some niche and Arabian houses are not in those databases at all, which is not by itself a problem.

Compare the box and the bottle
The code on the box and the code on the bottle must be the same. This is the single most useful check you can do at home.

Inspect the seal and the spray
Check that the cellophane was intact when it reached you, that the glass is heavy and clean, and that the atomiser gives a fine mist. Keep the box and the wrap until you are happy.

Contact us inside the return window
If anything looks wrong, message us with photos of the box, the bottle and both batch codes before you use it. We will pull the dispatch photo for your order and resolve it within the return window.
"Original" here means genuine retail stock: the same full-size, boxed, sealed unit a brand boutique would sell you. It is not a tester (an unsealed unit made for counters, usually in plain packaging), not a miniature or travel decant, and not an unboxed or "open box" unit. OSMODI lists sealed retail bottles and its own clearly labelled sample vials. We do not sell testers or unboxed stock, and we never describe a decant as a full bottle.
Authenticity questions
Are OSMODI perfumes original?
Yes. Every perfume we list is genuine full-size retail stock bought from the brand or from its UAE trade supplier in the UAE, and every unit is batch-checked and photographed before it is dispatched.
Where do you source your perfumes from?
From brands directly and from their UAE trade suppliers in the United Arab Emirates, on commercial accounts with an invoice for every unit. We do not buy from open marketplaces, auction listings or unverified wholesalers.
What is a batch code and where do I find it?
A batch code is the short alphanumeric production code the manufacturer prints on both the box and the bottle. It usually sits on the base of the box and is stamped, etched or printed on the underside of the bottle. It is not the barcode.
Are these testers?
No. Testers are unsealed units made for shop counters, usually in plain packaging and often without a cap. We sell boxed retail units in their factory seal, plus our own clearly labelled sample vials.
Do the bottles come sealed?
Yes. Full-size bottles ship in their original factory cellophane, unopened. Our own sample vials are the only exception, and they are labelled as samples on the product page.
What if I think my bottle is fake?
Message us before you use it, with photos of the box, the bottle and the batch code on each. We will compare them against the dispatch photograph taken for your order. If a bottle is ever found not to be original, you get a full refund.
Do you sell decants?
We sell our own sample vials so you can try a fragrance before committing to a full bottle. They are decanted from the same sealed stock we sell, are always labelled as samples, and are never described or priced as full bottles.
